The Déjeuner des grands, area of Montérégie- South end is a remarkable event which has brought together, for 11 years, participants from the business and education sector of its region. It’s a unique occasion to bring together more than 350 participants from the business industry and to participate to an interactive auction.
It is with honor and pride, that I have chosen to make a commitment towards the planning of this event, in profit of the Club des petits déjeuners. Did you know that in Quebec for every five children one child will be at risk to start their school day on an empty stomach? It is one child out of five that is prevented from dreaming because they are missing a basic essential. It is urgent and necessary to act on this issue.
In fact, in the Montérégie sector alone, the Club des petits déjeuners offers a full meal to 2235 children daily spread through 43 different schools. That makes up for almost 369,000 breakfast served every year by our 583 devoted volunteers.
Therefore, you’ll understand that your support is essential to guarantee a constant durability and the impact of our action in our region, while still taking into consideration that a lot of work as well, as many kind actions remains to be completed.
This year, the Déjeuner des grands, area of Montérégie – South end, presented by the Hôtel Mortagne of Boucherville, will be held on Friday, the 17th of February 2017 at 7 am.
We have been privileged with the honourable presence of Miss Isabelle Rayle-Doiron, VP of a corporative business and general lawyer for Danone as well as Mr. Dany Lemelin, President of Mitsubishi Boucherville. Many inspiring meetings along with vast projects will be on our agenda.
Be apart of the team who helps the little ones by participating with me in this grand event. We collectively, have the power to make a change. Let’s commit in a cause in which we believe in and let’s give every child the right to dream again.
